Ostrich Boas
Ostrich boas are one of the most popular feather boas used today. Ostrich boas are made from the stripped fibers of Ostrich Plumes feathers. They strip the feather fibers and twist them into boas. These boas are used in Broadway shows, Hollywood, Movies, millinery projects, costumes and much much more. While you can get the run of the mill ostrich boa in a few different weights (it goes by ply - where you can get anything from 1-ply boa to a 8 or 10-ply boa), most fancy feather suppliers stock 2 - 4 ply boas in standard colors.
